5 PROVEN CONTENT CREATION DO'S TO STAY INSPIRED

Updated: Mar 4, 2023

If you're a business owner or content creator that consistently feels...

→ Lost with what to post

→ Frustrated by too many hours creating content with little to no results

→ Overwhelmed with ideas but without any structure to implement them

→ Confused about how to niche your messaging (or unclear about messaging overall...)

→ Uninspired to create content weekly

→ Never really great about your posts but post them anyway

Then don't worry! You are not alone. These are VERY common struggles many business owners and creators have (even if the Instagram lens makes it look like everyone has their sh*t together except yourself, total nonsense!).

And - help is on the way. We have put together 5 tips that will reinspire your content game AND will have you feel:

→ Crystal clear on your messaging, ready to shout it from the rooftops

→ Excited to post and share your voice again

→ Confident in creating content that actually converts

→ Like what the heck were you doing before with all your time, cause you'll have sooo much more of it, spending less time creating content!

In need of some re-inspiration to have fun with your content creation again? Continue reading below.

1) Identify what makes your heart be *on fire*

Here's a question to help you create a THEME with your messaging.

“If you had the opportunity to stand up in front of a room of 500 people or more, and could only share a short statement as to what your mission or purpose is, what would you say?"

Use this as your brand's messaging compass.

2) What do you want to be known for?!

Pick 2-3 topics you want to be known as “best in the world at” within your niche and then consistently create content around those topics ONLY.

From here you can repurpose your messaging in different ways and formats. Rinse and repeat is the mantra here! Repetition allows your audience to truly get you.

This is what you want because it creates trust and connection which ultimately leads to higher buying potential.

3) Gather inspiration when you are - well... inspired.

When you scroll for example Instagram looking for ideas, save posts and reels into folders broken down by content types.

Having multiple "saved" folders helps you to organize your ideas in the moment and when you get to your weekly content creation, you can find the saved posts easily and use them as inspiration!

4) "So what do you want people to know?"

Is there something that pisses you off about the industry? Something you learned the hard way and wished someone had told you before? What do you believe in? What makes you different from others in your field? What do you want your audience to know?

Make time to channel your own words into a Google doc or notes folder weekly either on your phone or computer. Don’t overthink writing it out perfectly to start!

Write down whatever the f*ck comes to mind and then go back through it after to edit and refine. This will help you channel content from an authentic place.

5) Listen. To. Your. Audience.

Collect topics (questions/worries/beliefs/challenges) that you consistently hear about from your audience.

You can do this by asking more questions weekly on your Instagram stories to get their input on what they like and want support with in your industry. Another option is messaging people via DM to learn about their challenges, desires, and questions more directly from them (with no strings attached of course).

Market research is always going to enrich your business, no matter at what stage you are.

Ultimately, know that we all have our ups and downs.

Sometimes taking a break from socials to refresh your mind and be present is what will get the creative juices flowing again.
